Best Dad Card

Good Morning
Wonderful people in my PC. : )
First I'm very happy to say my card Chaplin won at Through the Craftroom Door And that makes me very happy. I love that site: )
This is my first card using Copic markers. It gets me nervous to color, especially when you have a beautiful image and you don't wan to mess it up.That's why I didn't like stamps and used any excuse not to color them. Now, I can't get enough of them, although I still have allot to learn. You guys are going to accompany me in my journey to learn how to color and I would love to hear any tips, ideas, creative criticism or bold : ).
The image I'm using is "Barclay-Tie" from Pollycraft Digi stamp. The paper is DCWV-The guy stack. I added eyelets and a bow made of twine. I bought my crop-a-dile about one year ago it came with an absorbent of eyelets. I used it on one card and put it away until now with the eyelets. I use the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp I hope you guys like it.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Latinas en America #26 "Let's use metal"
  2. Sunday Sketch and Stamp  #109 "Sketch"
  3. The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #188 "Anything goes"

  9. The best thing you can do with your Copics is to play, play, play. I teach local classes and I can always tell the students who are actually using their markers. You will learn so much simply from your own use of them. Relax and enjoy, and don't be afraid to experiment. Your card is adorable! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful project and talents with us at Papertake Weekly, and hope you join us again soon!
    hugs, Sharon
