Hello everybody,
I hope you all are having a good week , like I am. I would like to show you guys a card I made using recycling paper. We went to Lowe's looking for paint, for my hubby's project, and right there in the design color area I found this rose . It look so real and pretty, I had to do something with it.
I'm very proud of this card, because I did it with every thing I already had and had used before in previous cards. The music note paper I had for over 6 months, I love to use it and is time to go get more. While putting this card together the song "The Rose" kept coming in my mind. Also the movie (sigh) so romantic.
But I decided to make it a Mother's Day card.
The ribbon and the gems are from stash. I used Spellbinders dies to cut the image and the inside paper. I distress with Tim Holtz distress ink walnut stain.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Great card ! Tks for joining us at House of GILLI Challenge Blog !
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Great use of a magazine page with that rose. I always get excited when I use supplies that I've had forever, or what feels like forever. It seems like more of an accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteMy goal this year is to do just that because my studio is looking too much like one that belongs to a hoarder - Yikes!
I'd be thrilled if you joined us at Tuesday Alchemy: http://tuesdayalchemy.blogspot.com!
Lots of joy,
